Tindles attend ‘BusinessFutures’ debate in Westminster
Feb. 13, 2014, 11:13amIn February, Tindles’ Partner, Rob Tindle, had the honour of attending a debate about the future issues and challenges that businesses will face, at an exclusive conference held by the ICAEW in Westminster.
The conference, entitled ‘BusinessFutures’, considered the long term obstacles facing enterprises and the work being done to combat them, and was held at Chartered Accountants’ Hall followed by an evening reception at the House of Commons.

The select debate and reception on February 12th provided Tindles with the opportunity to speak directly with parliamentarians, policy makers and ICAEW members from across the UK about business issues within the North East.
Attendees at the debate, including MP Ed Balls and Lord Adonis, a former Labour transport and education minister and the prime mover in the HS2 initiative. He discussed at length the impact of Local Enterprise Partnerships and the ‘two nations’ divide between London and the rest of the country.
The ICAEW’s ‘BusinessFutures’ initiative was established in early 2014 as a voice for professionals within the industry to influence and shape the national agenda to support enterprises prosper and achieve longevity.
