Churchill …. a meeting (not quite) with the great man’s legacy …. a golden bulldog!
On my family summer holiday to Morocco we spent the first few days in Marrakech; temperatures of 40˚C plus, a chaotic and vibrant city, during Ramadan which meant it all came alive at 7.39 in the evening after sunset!
Marrakech is a super place; definitely worth a visit. It is everything you would expect from the stories you may have heard …. and more.
But enough of this Trip Advisor advice. The photo? Well a tenuous link with a great statesmen following on from my Clinton and Bush blog ….. we went to dinner one night in the opulent La Mamounia, where Churchill was a regular visitor to paint after the war. Hence the Churchillian bulldogs everywhere …. including the one I’m photographed with!
